Kevin Lewis, founder of Lewis Chassis Works, has been working with hot rods since the early seventies. Lewis Chassis Works started as a full time operation back in 1989 designing and constructing hot rod chassis. The business has been built on its reputation of quality and craftsmanship to secure customers from all over Australia. As well as New Zealand, America, Europe and even Indonesia.

Today Lewis Chassis Works is a partnership between Kevin Lewis and Peter King who has too been involved in the Industry since the seventies.  The business earlier this year moved closer to Melbourne into a bigger workshop further cementing the business as the quality choice for hot rod chassis. ALL OF OUR WORK IS CARRIED OUT BY FULLY QUALIFIED TRADESMEN AND ALL WELDING IS D.L.I. CERTIFIED.

The main line of chassis comprises 1932 to 1940 fords in all styles and stages.  The range begins with the basic Stage One, which is for supply to other hot rod shops, and continues through to the full rolling deluxe model detailed to show quality.

The business also handles refurbishments and rebuilds on any type of hot rod chassis combination along with any modifications or alterations the customer requires.

Lewis Chassis Works completes around 150 quality chassis per year through their highly organised system with many then being sent on to Deuce Customs to be fitted with their leading quality fibreglass bodies of various styles.
This close association with Deuce Customs is a perfect marriage providing the customer with best in the business in both chassis and fibreglass body construction.
